From maintaining compliance and managing risk to overseeing financial performance, supporting our people, and coordinating day-to-day operations, they provide the structure that underpins every part of the organisation.
Working across Mechanical & Electrical, Facilities Management, and Cleaning & Hygiene + Security, they oversee key functions including governance, financial control, compliance, people development, and internal coordination. Their role is central to ensuring the business remains well managed, aligned, and supported at every level.

Finance
Our Finance team provides the financial control, reporting, and strategic oversight that supports every part of Heb Group.
Led by James Locking, Group Finance Director, the team plays a central role in managing the financial performance of the business across all divisions, ensuring strong governance, accurate reporting, and informed decision-making. Working closely with senior leadership, they help guide financial strategy, monitor performance, and ensure the business operates with clarity, discipline, and long-term stability.
From day-to-day financial management to long-term planning and forecasting, the team is responsible for budget control, cash flow management, financial reporting, and compliance. Working closely with operational and commercial teams, they ensure projects and services are delivered in line with financial expectations while maintaining transparency and accountability.
Supporting the wider business, the Finance team manages accounts and financial administration, ensuring accurate processes and timely reporting across all regions. Their work underpins decision-making at every level, helping Heb Group maintain stability, support growth, and invest confidently in its people and projects.

Working across Sheffield, Leeds, Doncaster, and St Helens, they provide essential support that underpins both project delivery and internal processes.
From managing documentation and coordinating internal processes to supporting procurement activities and handling enquiries, the team ensures that information is accurate, accessible, and shared effectively. They work closely with operational, commercial, and finance teams to keep workflows running smoothly and ensure consistency across the business.
By supporting Mechanical & Electrical, Facilities Management, and Cleaning & Hygiene, the Administration team helps maintain clear communication, strong organisation, and reliable coordination across every part of Heb Group.

Our Health, Safety & Compliance team is central to ensuring that Heb Group operates safely, responsibly, and in full alignment with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
Led by Dave Warren, Group Health, Safety & Environmental Director, the team provides strategic oversight across the entire business, setting the standards, policies, and procedures that underpin every project, service, and operational activity. Their role extends beyond compliance alone, embedding a proactive safety culture that supports both day-to-day operations and long-term business performance.
Working across Mechanical & Electrical, Facilities Management, and Cleaning & Hygiene, the team is responsible for developing policies, managing risk, and ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation. Through regular audits, site inspections, and ongoing support to operational teams, they help maintain a strong safety culture across all regions.
Their proactive approach ensures that risks are identified early, controls are implemented effectively, and standards are consistently upheld. By supporting teams on site and across the business, they play a vital role in protecting our people, clients, and the environments we work in, ensuring Heb Group continues to deliver safe and compliant services at every level.

Our People, Brand and Responsibility (PBR) team plays a key role in shaping the identity, culture, and long-term direction of Heb Group.
Led by Karen Staniforth, Group People, Brand and Responsibility Director, the team is responsible for bringing together our people strategy, brand positioning, and wider social value commitments into a clear and consistent approach across the business.
Working across all divisions and regions, the team supports employee development, internal engagement, and recruitment, while also leading how Heb Group presents itself externally. This includes overseeing brand standards, marketing activity, and communications to ensure a consistent and professional presence across every touchpoint.
Alongside this, the PBR function drives our commitment to responsibility, supporting initiatives around community engagement, sustainability, and ESG. By aligning people, brand, and responsibility, the team helps create a strong internal culture and a clear external identity, ensuring Heb Group continues to grow as a trusted, forward-thinking business.
