Electrical Supervisor / Site Manager - Leeds

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor / Site Manager to join our Mechanical & Electrical division. This is a key role for someone who thrives on delivering high-quality electrical installations, managing site operations, and ensuring compliance with Heb’s exacting standards. About the Role
As an Electrical Supervisor / Site Manager, you’ll oversee all electrical installations on site, ensuring they’re completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality. You’ll coordinate both electrical and mechanical trades, manage subcontractors, and maintain compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supervising site activities, monitoring progress against programme, managing inspections and testing (ITP), overseeing materials and logistics, and leading toolbox talks and safety briefings. You’ll also support defect management, maintain site records, and ensure the smooth coordination between engineers, suppliers, and project management teams.

This is a site-based role that requires hands-on leadership, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and strong communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with Heb Group’s standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site safety by conducting inspections, toolbox talks, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards.
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate multi-trade teams effectively.
- Oversee quality and compliance, ensuring installations meet specifications, drawings, and ITP documentation.
- Monitor progress against construction programmes and contribute to look-ahead meetings.
- Manage site materials, deliveries, and storage in conjunction with the storeman.
- Support defect management and snag resolution.
- Maintain accurate site records, drawings, and reports.
- Act as the nominated person for safe isolations and switching.
What We’re Looking For
- ECS/CSCS card holder (Gold/JIB preferred).
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Site Manager within M&E or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating electrical and mechanical trades.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive and organised approach.
