Keeping the UK’s Favourite Pubs Trading: FM Partnership with Stonegate Group

Client:
Stonegate Pub Company

We deliver a comprehensive Planned Preventative Maintenance, remedial, and 24/7 reactive maintenance service for Stonegate Group, the UK’s largest pub company, with a diverse estate of over 4,500 venues.

From bustling city centre bars and traditional community pubs to large format venues and nightclubs, every site has its own unique pressures. That’s why we’ve built a tailored FM solution that does more than just maintain buildings, it helps Stonegate deliver consistently brilliant hospitality experiences, day in, day out.

Our PPM programme is carefully designed to support uptime, safety, and compliance across a broad mix of property types. We carry out scheduled inspections and servicing on everything from fire safety systems, emergency lighting and electrical distribution. These services are delivered with precision, coordinated around each site’s peak trading hours to ensure maintenance never gets in the way of the customer experience. Every visit is planned through our CAFM system, giving full visibility of service history, certification, and live status across the portfolio.

Hospitality is an industry where reactive issues can have a real impact on revenue, so our rapid response capability is key.

Whether it’s a boiler breakdown on a cold weekend, or lighting issues in a flagship venue, our 24/7 helpdesk triages the issue and dispatches engineers without delay. We’ve built a network of mobile engineers located strategically across the country, ensuring nationwide coverage.

But the real value comes from how we’ve joined everything together. PPMs, remedials, and reactive works don’t operate in silos, they’re fully integrated. When our engineers spot an issue during a scheduled visit, they raise a recommendation and return swiftly to resolve it. This streamlined approach prevents minor faults from becoming major problems.

We take real pride in how we show up on site.

Our engineers are not only qualified and experienced but also understand the hospitality setting; they work with discretion, professionalism, and clear communication. Whether liaising with a general manager, venue staff, or the property team, they represent us, and Stonegate, to a high standard and because every job is logged live through our CAFM app, everyone stays informed: venue managers know what’s happening, and the central team has the full picture at their fingertips.

Our relationship with Stonegate is built on trust and collaboration. We’ve worked hand in hand with their property and FM teams to develop a service model that truly fits their estate. We’re not just a supplier delivering maintenance visits, we’re a strategic partner embedded in their operation. From refining visit schedules to adjusting SLAs around seasonality and peak events, we adapt with their business, not separately from it.

Supporting Stonegate is a brilliant example of how true partnership in facilities management should work. We’re not just maintaining buildings, we’re helping keep some of the UK’s most recognisable hospitality venues open, safe, and trading. Our team understands the fast paced, customer facing nature of these environments, and we take real pride in being a trusted part of that operation, solving problems quickly, planning and always delivering with care.

Regular contract reviews give us the opportunity to go beyond compliance.

We track recurring issues, analyse repair trends, and identify areas for cost optimisation or proactive asset replacement. Our insight helps inform long-term decisions, allowing Stonegate to reduce emergency spend, extend asset life, and drive performance across their estate. That’s where partnership really comes to life, not just in the response, but in the planning.

Supporting Stonegate is about more than maintenance. It’s about enabling the smooth running of thousands of venues where people gather, celebrate, and connect. Through consistent delivery, strategic thinking, and a shared focus on standards, we help Stonegate maintain the environments that power their brand; pubs, bars, and venues where the lights are always on, the atmosphere is right, and service never stops.
