Heb FM Awarded Place on ESPO’s Total Facilities Management Framework

By Nick Barker, Group Facilities Management Director

We’re proud to announce that Heb Facilities Management has been awarded a place on the ESPO 676_25 Total Facilities Management Framework, with approval to deliver services across all three contract value bands. This includes contracts under £1 million, mid-range agreements between £1 million and £4.9 million, and major frameworks exceeding £5 million annually.

This is a significant milestone for our FM division. It reflects not only the quality of our submission, but the standards we’ve consistently upheld across planned, reactive, and emergency facilities management. Being appointed to all three Lots reinforces our ability to support a wide range of public sector clients, from single-site schools to multi-region NHS Trusts and local authorities managing diverse estate portfolios.

What the ESPO Framework Means for Our Clients

The ESPO framework provides a fully compliant route to market for any public sector organisation looking to procure total facilities management. It streamlines the process, gives clients confidence in the quality of suppliers, and enables a faster route to mobilisation, all while meeting public procurement regulations.

From our side, it gives us a platform to build long-term partnerships with estates and compliance leads across education, healthcare, housing, leisure, and more. Clients can engage us directly through ESPO to access the full breadth of our FM offering, whether that’s a standalone PPM regime or a full-service contract combining mechanical, electrical, and building fabric maintenance.

Delivering Total FM with Control, Clarity and Care

At Heb FM, we don’t see facilities management as a tick-box service. Our role is to help our clients maintain safe, compliant, and operational buildings, while reducing risk, extending asset life, and managing cost.

That starts with a proactive approach to planned preventative maintenance. We build PPM schedules around statutory requirements and SFG20 guidance, but we also tailor them to suit the real-world usage and condition of each building. By investing in regular inspections, testing, and routine maintenance, we help avoid costly emergency call-outs and prevent small issues becoming major failures.

Our reactive and emergency services are available 24/7, with a dedicated helpdesk and mobile engineers on call across the country. Because our team includes multi-skilled engineers, we’re able to diagnose and resolve a wide range of issues on the first visit, from electrical faults to HVAC failures and urgent fabric repairs. That reduces downtime, minimises disruption, and helps our clients stay in control.

A National Service with Strong Local Roots

While we operate across the UK, our core strength lies in our regional delivery model. With established teams in Sheffield, Doncaster, Leeds, and the North West, we’re able to offer the agility and local knowledge that clients value, backed by the resilience and reach of a national provider.

This framework award is an opportunity to grow that reach further. It allows more public sector organisations to tap into the capability we’ve built: a trusted in-house team, a responsive supply chain, and a CAFM platform that keeps everything connected, from real-time job tracking to certificate storage and SLA reporting.

Looking Ahead

Securing a place on the ESPO Total FM Framework is more than a win on paper. It gives us a chance to keep raising the bar, not just in terms of compliance, but in the quality and consistency of how we deliver. We’ve built this division by being reliable, proactive, and easy to work with. That won’t change.

I want to thank everyone across the FM team who helped shape our bid and who deliver for our clients every day. This recognition is a direct result of the standards you set, and the work you do, often quietly, but always professionally.

We look forward to supporting even more organisations through this framework and continuing to build FM partnerships that last.
