With a strong presence in the region, we deliver both new build and refurbishment projects, often within live and operational environments. Their experience allows them to effectively plan and deliver works within operational environments, ensuring safety is maintained and disruption is kept to a minimum.

Supporting the Sheffield Business Unit, our pre-construction and estimating team plays a key role in developing projects during the early stages.

Working closely with the operational team, they provide input on design coordination, budgeting, and procurement to ensure mechanical and electrical packages are well planned and deliverable from the outset.

The team is responsible for producing accurate estimates, detailed cost plans, and supporting tender submissions across projects throughout Sheffield, South Yorkshire and beyond. By engaging early with consultants, main contractors, and clients, they help define scope, highlight potential risks, and ensure project requirements are clearly understood before work begins on site.

This early involvement supports a smooth transition from design and planning into construction, giving delivery teams the clarity and structure needed to execute projects effectively. Through a focus on cost certainty, programme alignment, and practical design solutions, the team helps ensure successful mechanical and electrical delivery across the region.

Supporting both our Sheffield and Leeds Business Units, our commercial team provides essential cost management and financial oversight across mechanical and electrical projects throughout Yorkshire.

Working alongside both the delivery and pre-construction teams, they ensure projects are commercially structured from the outset and remain aligned with agreed budgets throughout.

The team manages key commercial activities including valuations, contract administration, and change management, maintaining clear visibility of costs at every stage. Through regular communication with clients, main contractors, and supply chain partners, they ensure commercial matters are handled efficiently and with full transparency.

With a strong focus on cost control and project performance, the commercial team supports the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical works across Sheffield, Leeds, and the wider Yorkshire region, ensuring projects are completed in line with expectations while maintaining the high standards associated with Heb Mechanical & Electrical.
